How to use aluminum ladders?

Before use
Preparation work before using the ladder
1. Ensure that all rivets, bolts, nuts, and moving parts are tightly connected, the ladder pillars and steps are firm and reliable, and the extension springs and hinges are in good working condition
2. Keep the ladder clean and free of slippery substances such as grease, oil stains, wet paint, mud, snow, etc
3. Keep the operator's shoes clean and prohibit wearing leather soled shoes

in use
What issues should be noted when using ladders.
1. When feeling tired, taking medication, drinking alcohol, or experiencing physical disabilities, it is prohibited to use ladders
2. Ladders should be placed on a sturdy and stable ground, and are not allowed to be placed on ice, snow, or slippery surfaces without anti slip and fixed equipment
3. It is prohibited to exceed the maximum weight capacity indicated during homework
4. Do not use ladders in strong winds
5. Metal ladders conduct electricity and avoid approaching charged areas
6. When climbing, the person should face the ladder, hold onto it with both hands, and keep their body's center of gravity in the center of the two pillars
7. When doing homework, do not stand on the steps within 1 meter of the top of the ladder, always maintain a safety protection height of 1 meter, and do not climb over the highest support point on the top
8. During homework, do not exceed your head with your hands to avoid losing balance and potential danger
9. It is prohibited to directly cross from one side of the ladder to the other side

How to operate a folding ladder
(Two fold ladder and four fold ladder)
1. Lock and unfold the ladder pillar outward. When you hear a "click" sound and the lock block enters the position, it indicates that the hinge has locked this position.
2. Open the lock by pulling the handle, and at the same time, the lock block is retracted to the position, indicating that the hinge has been unlocked. At this time, the angle between the ladder pillars can be changed or the ladder can be folded
*If you encounter a situation where the handle cannot be pulled and the lock cannot be opened, it is because the hinge is under pressure on the lock block. At this time, you can pull the ladder pillar and shake it to release the external force
3. After checking that the ladder is in use, please carefully confirm that all hinges are in the locked position before use. If there are hinges with lock blocks in position, they can be symmetrically opened, then retract the ladder pillar inward by about 40 degrees, and then unfold outward to lock the pair of hinges
4. Attention:
a. A ladder with a total length of less than or equal to 4 meters can be unfolded into a straight ladder for use. At this time, the angle between the ladder and the ground should be greater than 75 degrees, and the hinge in the middle of the ladder should face the wall
b. When using a four fold ladder as a platform, it is necessary to pad a flat plate with a thickness of at least 1cm
c. When someone is working on a ladder, it is strictly prohibited for others to pull the handle to change the locking status of the hinges

How to operate a stretchable ladder
(Two consecutive elevators, three consecutive elevators, double-sided elevators, two-dimensional transformation elevators, three-dimensional transformation elevators)
1. The angle between a single or extended ladder and the ground is about 75 degrees, and the length from the bottom of the ladder to the vertical support point is about a quarter of the working length
2. After extending the ladder, the minimum overlap distance of the overlapping parts should meet the following standards, as shown in the diagram on the extension ladder inspection label

Operation method of lifting ladder
(Single lift, herringbone lift, lifting platform)
1. The angle between a single ladder or a zigzag ladder and the ground is approximately 75 degrees.
2. After extending the ladder, maintain a certain overlap distance between the overlapping parts. The overlap distance of ladders below 8 meters should be above 75 centimeters, and the overlap distance of ladders above 8 meters should be above 110 centimeters.
3. When lifting a ladder, one hand should hold the handle tightly and the other hand should hold the rope for lifting. The palm should not be placed on the step of the ladder, otherwise there is a possibility of finger injury when lifting the ladder.
4. Lift to the appropriate height for use, after ensuring that the lifting clip is stuck on the step, break off the fixing block at the bottom of the upper ladder to fix it, then tie the lifting rope and open the ladder to the appropriate width before use. Please lift and lower gently during lifting.
5. To lower the ladder, fold both sides of the ladder closer, then loosen the fixed ropes and raise the ladder a little, so that the fixing clips are off the step surface, and then slowly lower. If the descent is not smooth, you can hold the rope in one hand and gently shake the ladder back and forth with the other hand until the ladder descends smoothly.
6. A minimum of 2 people should operate the herringbone elevator and lifting platform. During the lifting process, 2 people should simultaneously pull the rope and lift and lower the ladder gently. For ladders exceeding 6 meters, at least 2 more people should be added to assist in the operation to prevent the danger of the ladder tilting to one side due to uneven force on both sides.
7. It is strictly prohibited to stand on the lifting platform during lifting or movement.
8. There are two movable lifting and fixing devices on both sides of the lifting platform. When moving, fold them up. When lifting and working, please open them to the appropriate width and lock them for fixation.
9. The bottom of the lifting platform is equipped with lockable universal moving casters. When working, please lock the casters. When moving, release the lock to move freely.

Maintenance and repair
1. Regularly clean the ladder to prevent certain chemicals from corroding the surface of the ladder. Regularly inspect the connection parts and add lubricating oil if necessary.
If the ladder material bends, breaks, or the connecting parts cannot work properly, it is necessary to contact the manufacturer for professional repair.
3. Poor environmental conditions can reduce the service life of ladders. Generally speaking, their service life is 2 years indoors and 1 year outdoors.

Common sense of purchasing
When purchasing, check whether the four legs of the ladder are level, and whether there is any looseness or detachment during riveting or welding.
If you choose an insulated ladder, you also need to check if there are any bubbles or scratches on the lower surface.
