Recently, as one of the important contents of the national science and technology major project of "high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment", the research on the "large key die forging technology" undertaken by China No. 2 Heavy-duty Machine Tool Group Corporation has made great progress recently.

It is reported that the subject focuses on the near-net-shape technology of hot-die forging of large-scale aviation die forgings, combined with the 800MN large-scale die-forging press under construction, to develop a new technology of near-net-shape for complex precision forgings in aviation, which solves the basic common technology and key technical issues. Breakthrough in the overall forming technology of large titanium alloys and elevator forgings, basic data testing of typical titanium alloys, elevators and high-strength steels used in aviation, meshless simulation technology research of forging forming process, forming process of typical titanium alloy structural parts Significant achievements have been made in the research of lubrication protection technology and the research and development of die forging process database/knowledge base.

The research results of this subject will be widely used in the research and development of large-scale, integral, fine, high-quality, low-cost, long-life die forging products, and provide the basis for the manufacture of key parts for my country's large aircraft.
